Joëlle is a London-based artist, designer, and visualist whose work spans digital product design, live visuals, performance, and installations, with a focus on audiovisual synchronicity, experiential technologies, Web3, and design systems.

She’s the visual artist for electronic musician and DJ Richie Hawtin, touring with him and developing live visuals for his DJ sets. She led the creative on a number of his projects in the sphere of but not limited to Web3 and Gaming, while researching and building knowledge around blockchain and best practices within the Web3 ecosystem.

Her art practice explores the relationship between frequencies and form, shaping the invisible by giving sound a certain physicality. She is a resident visual artist at FOLD, London — an artist-led, community-driven nightclub and arts space with a predominantly queer techno community.

As a product designer and process nerd she enjoys designing systems and thrives in roles that help teams develop efficient workflows while optimising and documenting their design process. Working with engineers, designers, writers, and researchers, she enjoys balancing craft with business needs, collaborating on projects that use technology and research-driven design solutions to improve people’s lives.

She believes in a decentralised future where ownership and provenance of digital and non-digital assets are authenticated and verified through the use of NFTs and blockchain technology.
