Artwork Description
Ebb–Flow is an extract from Duality, a site-specific installation comprising six chapters, created for Digital Impact, a group exhibition at the Disseny Hub Barcelona which took place from April to August 2023.
We live in a world of duality—light and dark, order and chaos, minimal and maximal. Opposites help us understand the world, but the paradox of opposites is that one cannot exist without the other and by requiring both to exist it means they coexist. We are multidimensional and dual in nature, a fusion of opposing forces intertwined and connected, a symbiosis of contrasting elements.
Ebb–Flow 01 is an audiovisual contemplation that explores themes of resilience and impermanence, shaped by a soundtrack that evokes a sense of melancholy and longing, infused by moments of hope and resilience.
