The Age of Data by Christoph Grünberger explores data-driven art and design through the work of 40 artists, designers, and studios. I met Christoph at TOCA ME in 2020, where we instantly connected over a shared love of electronic music and minimal aesthetics.

The book offers a beautiful look into the tools and techniques used across a wide range of fields and mediums.

My contribution features the audiovisual set I created for ANNA at Lost Horizon Festival 2020, a virtual reality music and arts event produced by the team behind Glastonbury’s Shangri-La in response to the festival’s cancellation during the pandemic.

Grateful to Christoph for the opportunity. You can find The Age of Data: Embracing Algorithms in Art & Design at Niggli or Amazon.

TAOD x OFFF Festival

At OFFF Barcelona 2022, I had the pleasure of performing a live visualisation of a conversation about The Age of Data, led by Christoph Grünberger with Refik Anadol and Florian Ortkrass of Random International. The performance included ambient audio inputs DJ Kero from Detroit Underground.
